GOTTMAN SEVEN PRINCIPLES WORKSHOP FOR COUPLES
The Seven Principles Workshop for Couples is based on the internationally acclaimed work of Dr. John Gottman as presented in his New York Times bestselling book The Seven Principles of Making Marriage Work. This psychoeducational workshop is designed to help couples improve intimacy, grow their friendship, and enhance conflict management skills. Strong relationships don’t just happen at random. They are the result of daily, informed, and intentional work. As your workshop leader my goal is to provide you with practical tools to improve your relationship while having you understand the research behind what helps couples form lasting and nourishing bonds. This workshop is not about sharing personal marital problems in a group setting. We focus on teaching the principles and giving you and your partner opportunities to practice with one another. The Seven Principles Workshop combines teaching and demonstrations with one-on-one work sessions where you and your partner can practice core concepts. This is a psychoeducational group workshop, not group therapy, thus, participants will be not be asked to share their personal problems in front of others.
In this Workshop you will learn proven tools to help you and your partner:
-
Improve friendship, fondness and admiration
-
Enhance closeness and build a deeper connection
-
Improve communication & learn about your conflict style
-
Learn how to repair effectively
-

Manage conflict calmly & effectively
-
